da betway: With only one player at EURO 2016 over the next few weeks, the rest of the Celtic squad are solely focused on club concerns. And this is welcome news for Brendan Rodgers, as the hard work starts in just a couple of weeks when pre-season training begins at Lennoxtown.
da betobet: There will be both departures and arrivals, some possibly before the team regroup, with the appointment of the Northern Irishman set to shake things up in a squad that could do with some revitalisation. Despite the league win last term, the mood in the Hoops’ fanbase has not been as high as the management would have hoped, with dissent towards Ronny Deila common shortly before he confirmed his resignation following the cup loss to bitter rivals, Rangers.
Here are THREE players that could come in and THREE players potentially on their way out of Celtic this summer…
IN – Oliver Norwood
Reading midfielder Oliver Norwood is one of the latest names to be linked with a move to the Rodgers revolution at Celtic.
The Northern Ireland international will be an important member of the country’s campaign at EURO 2016 and has been a key player for the Royals since signing from Huddersfield in 2014.
Thought to be available for around £1.5m, he’s an achievable target for the Scottish champions that would bolster options in central midfield. However with Premier League clubs like Hull and Bournemouth said to be interested could face stiff competition in landing his signature.
OUT – Colin Kazim-Richards
Kazim-Richards is on the verge of joining Brazilian side Coritiba, according to the Daily Record. He underwent a medical on Monday and his transfer could go through as early as June 20th, when the Brazilian transfer window opens.
He didn’t have the most successful of spells in his few months at Celtic, scoring only two goals in 13 appearances, one of which was against amateur side East Kilbride. His departure paves the way for fresh attacking talent to compliment the scoring abilities of Leigh Griffiths.
IN – Steven Taylor
Steven Taylor left Newcastle last Friday after 13 seasons in the first-team squad. Fenerbahce and Rangers are said to be seeking his services but Celtic are also reportedly chasing him.
He would add plenty of experience to the Bhoys’ backline and despite limited starts for Newcastle over the last few seasons clearly knows what it takes to be a Premier League calibre defender.
Pipping city rivals Rangers to a signing has never gone down badly with supporters either…
Out – Anthony Stokes
Anthony Stokes could be set for a permanent exit from Celtic Park after spending the last few months on loan at Hibernian.
The Sun have reported a potential move to join Rotherham United, linking up with their new manager Alan Stubbs, who of course was his boss in Edinburgh.
Despite scoring 77 goals for the Bhoys, he’s unlikely to force his way back into plans at the club and a move away would provide his best opportunity to secure first team football.

IN – Steven Fletcher
The Fletcher to Celtic drum has been banging for over seven years but this summer could finally be the time the striker makes the move.
Fresh quotes from the player this weekend past suggest he’s open to a move, admitting it’s a compliment to be linked with a club of Celtic’s size.
He told the Scotland on Sunday: “It’s flattering for me to be linked with Celtic but it’s never happened. I honestly don’t know. I’d love to sit and tell you where I was going because it would be better for me. I’ve not had much contact with anyone yet.”
Available on a free, he represents great value to any club interested in him this summer, not least Celtic.

OUT – Stefan Scepovic
Another striker on his way out of Celtic Park could be Stefan Scepovic. In their report last week linking Kazim-Richards with a move away,The Daily Mail reported that Scepovic is also on his way, set for a move to Spanish club Getafe.
It makes sense given that the Serbian cap spent his season on loan at the La Liga relegated club. Despite scoring just a handful of goals for Getafe, he has pedigree in the Spanish second tier, scoring 23 goals for Sporting Gijon in 2013/14 before his move to Celtic.
