da marjack bet: Spurs fans seem to of bypassed the mill this season and gone through fire and water instead. A manager involved in a court battle with HM Revenue and Customs, a purported tilt at the Premier League title and to top it all off, everyone associated with the club is praying a team in red win the Champions League final. Even by the Lilywhite’s rollercoaster standards, this season has been quite the ride. In the aftermath of all of that, there has an FA Cup run to the semi-finals, Harry Redknapp’s heart surgery and his flirtations with the England job. It really has been quite a season. But with fourth spot not necessarily guaranteeing the desperately needed allure and riches of the Champions League, this year feels like something of a watershed one for the club. What better time then, to look at the top ten conclusions from Tottenham’s 2011-12 season.

Think I’m wrong to criticize Redknapp? Or should we be fuming with fourth after such riding so high earlier in the season? Follow me on Twitter @samuel_antrobus
