Leeds are having no luck with injuries this season are they?
They’ve been without Adam Forshaw and Tyler Roberts for months at this point, and Pablo Hernandez has also suffered with his own injury issues.
Unfortunately, their physio’s schedule isn’t clearing up as another player has been ruled out for a number of weeks.
What’s the story?
Leif Davis has undergone an operation to clean up some cartilage on his knee.
Fortunately, this procedure won’t keep the youngster on the sidelines for too long as he’s set to be back within a month.

However, this injury may have come at the worst possible time for the Whites as problems at left-back are becoming ever more apparent.
As a result, they may now have to persevere with Ezgjan Alioksi.
Alioski starts
With Barry Douglas also suffering from injury, Davis being out has left Alioski and Stuart Dallas as Leeds’ only options at left-back.
Unfortunately, Kalvin Phillips’ three-game suspension has once again left the Whites short in the middle of the park, especially in terms of defensive contribution. Therefore, the Northern Irishman may be needed in midfield as his 2.2 tackles per game will go a long way towards making sure Leeds don’t miss Phillips too much.
Alioski starting at this moment in time is a bit of a nightmare – he’s put in poor performance after poor performance leading to a number of fans criticising him on social media in recent weeks. In each of his last three outings, the attacker turned defender has failed to achieve an average match rating above 6.6, via WhoScored.
The Macedonian’s poor showings as of late could have opened the door for Davis to get a chance, but this setback means that Bielsa has no choice but to play Alioski in the coming weeks.
